WEDDING AT CASA ADELA, SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE

Laura and Vivek celebrated their marriage with a two-day celebration at the stunning Casa Adela in San Miguel de Allende. They wanted to honor both of their families by blending Western and Indian traditions.

Their festivities began with a vibrant Sangeet at the Trinitate Terrace, located closer to downtown. To set the mood, they chose to welcome their guests with the rich flavors of India, with Maye Cordova's team managing the delicious banquet. The evening kicked off with cocktails and flavorful food stations.

For entertainment, guests were delighted by a duo of talented traditional Indian musicians playing the sitar and tabla. A magician from Guanajuato City also performed captivating tricks for the crowd, and a henna artist painted beautiful, intricate designs on the hands of the female guests as everyone mingled.

Guests were then welcomed to the terrace for cocktails, where they were greeted with champagne coupes and a duo of guitar and saxophone music. An artist was also on hand, creating a unique hand-drawn portrait of each guest. As a stunning sunset filled the sky, a mariachi band led everyone to the reception.

The Casa Adela courtyard was transformed with colorful, organic floral arrangements. The tables were set with fruit elements and candles, creating a vibrant tablescape. The evening was intimate, warm, and colorful, with guests enjoying a delicious four-course, family-style meal by Chef Maye and sharing heartfelt speeches from family and friends.
