Ana Laura & Rafael
WEDDING AT LUNA ESCONDIDA, SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE
Ana Laura & Rafael were married on a beautiful autumn day in San Miguel de Allende. We planned their wedding to be a celebration centered on their deep love for each other, their families, and their friends. When we began searching for the perfect venue, the choice became simple after visiting a few options; they fell completely in love with the spaces of Luna Escondida.
They hosted a beautiful two-day celebration, beginning with their Catholic ceremony at Hummingbird Gardens. With 250 of their dearest friends and family gathered, the journey began. As the ceremony came to an end, a lively Mariachi band set the tone for the recessional, leading guests to the atrium where mojigangas and cold cocktails awaited them.
As the sunset settled, the doors to Luna Salon opened, revealing a scene of breathtaking romance. The guests were welcomed with a jazz live trio, and a space transformed into an intimate, enchanted forest. Rich, dark green tablecloths draped the tables, creating a canvas of sophisticated elegance punctuated by candlelight and lush floral arrangements. The atmosphere was warm and inviting.
The evening's formalities concluded as Ana Laura & Rafael cut their cake and shared their first dance to "Making Memories of Us" by Keith Urban. But the celebration was far from over. As the party continued late into the night, guests were surprised with a classic Mexican late-night snack station to fuel the dancing, serving up comforting favorites like savory esquites, delicious chilaquiles, and traditional tortas.
Following a long night of dancing, guests were treated to a relaxing Mexican brunch the next day at Hummingbird Gardens. Stations of savory tacos and creamy esquites, along with sweet churros and delicious ice cream, were available all day. The delightful meal was accompanied by the smooth sounds of a Latin jazz trio.
